Distinguished guests from diverse backgrounds in the food and beverage industry converged at the picturesque Mt. Fuji restaurant, nestled high atop the mountain in Hillburn, NY. Some were even treated to a scenic journey via bus from NYC to the venue!
This fortunate group gathered to partake in a truly extraordinary experience. The afternoon commenced with a heartfelt welcome from the Governor of Miyazaki Prefecture. Miyachiku’s Wagyu Chef Taniguchi, took the stage and guests were treated to a live demonstration including how best to use all portions of the beef leaving no part wasted.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the multi-course tasting menu, where Miyazaki Wagyu shone as the brightest star. Each dish was meticulously crafted to accentuate the unparalleled flavor and texture of this exceptional beef, leaving guests in awe and appreciation of its culinary mastery.
