Japan Village joyously marked its 3rd annual summer festival with the vibrant celebration of Natsumatsuri, a cherished tradition in Japanese culture. Japanese people have always reveled in the spirit of summer festivals, embracing cherished customs such as the traditional Bon Dance, Mikoshi Carrying (Portable Shrine), and the intense beat of Japanese Taiko drums. At Japan Village Natsumatsuri, guests were treated to a delightful array of traditional performances alongside an abundance of fun-filled activities and delectable foods. From classic games like Yo-Yo Fishing to sweet treats like Cotton Candy and Shaved Ice, and the opportunity to don traditional masks (Omen), the festival offered an immersive experience that captivated attendees of all ages.
