Ohoro Gin
Tasting Notes
Ohoro means “to continue” in the language of the Ainu, the indigenous people of Hokkaido. Niseko Distillery hopes the gin crafted in Niseko, Hokkaido, will be enjoyed by many for generations to come. Made using Hokkaido-grown sweet gale and Japanese mint as the botanicals and the high-quality subterranean water (soft water) of Niseko Annupuri. The result is a clear, smooth, yet robust flavor with a light citrus aroma that makes an excellent base for cocktails. Absolutely sublime neat, with beautiful nuances of yuzu, chamomile, and coriander. Recommended for Gin & Tonic, White Lady, Gimlet, and Martini cocktails.
